Moet & Chandon and 10 Cane Rum Hosts Dinner for “The Creative Coalition” During Inauguration Week

In celebration of President Barack Obama’s inauguration, millions of people descended upon Washington, DC to attend numerous festivities and witness the historical inauguration.  Among the notable events was premier non-profit organization, The Creative Coalition’s private dinner sponsored by Moet & Chandon and 10 Cane Rum at the Teatro Goldini Restaurant.

An excited bevy of celebrities, politicians, socialites, philanthropists and high-level executives mingled at the glamorous dinner.  The generous sponsors Renaud Dutreil the chairman of LVMH and Mark Cornell, President and CEO of Moet-Hennessey were all smiles as they chatted up Senator John Kerry and his wife, billionaire heiress Teresa and their daughters Alexandra and Vanessa.

Notable Award-winning actors such as Susan Sarandon, Tim Robbins, Kerry Washington, Marisa Tomei, Josh Lucas and Kim Raver were in attendance.  A few of the other notable guests were film director Spike Lee and his wife/novelist Tonya, Tim Daly, celebrity stylist Edward Tricomi, music mogul Morris Reid and his wife Jaci, a prominent socialite and philanthropist.

The Creative Coalition is an American nonpartisan organization formed for the charitable and educational purposes of uniting artists and entertainers to learn about pressing issues so they can better inform and influence the community and nation.  The Coalition grooms their members to be advocates and spokes-models, they sponsor forums and awareness building events and address issues such public funding for the arts, violence in the media and education policy.
