Being that South Beach is a sexy suburb of the Big Apple, we just got another foodie transplant.

STK finally opened in Gansevoort South in sunny South Beach!So our NYC visitors have yet another place to dine at and feel at home here.The One Group brings us this juicy new joint.

Even celebrity fans of the steakhouse, Fergie, Josh Duhamel, Michael Bay, Michael Mann and Robin Givens, could not resist stopping in recently for a taste of signature favorites such as the Mini Big Macs and new additions to the menu with a Miami flair including the Rice & Beans side dish which is a family recipe of Chef de Cuisine Isaac Maisonet.

Executive Chef Todd Mark Miller has created a seasonal menu emphasizing fresh ingredients and local produce, offering Miami locals and our international guests alternatives to traditional steakhouse fare.  The menu features different cuts and sizes of meat, such as small, medium and large, as well naturally raised options, that are sure to please every STK guest.  Other standout items include the Shrimp Rice Krispies and Foie Gras French Toast appetizers and Big Eye Tuna with Roasted Pineapple, Organic Free Range Roasted chicken with butternut squash, salsify and mushroom ragu or the Beef Short Rib with white truffle grits, Shimeji mushrooms, and crispy onion entrees.  Making for the perfect toppings, housemade sauce selections include red chimichurri, blue butter and bordelaise; while the Sides portion of the menu consists of Parmesan Truffle fries, Maduros Almibar, Sweet Corn Pudding and Mac & Cheese to complement each dish.

The award-winning design firm ICRAVE unraveled the key DNA that has made STK a standout in both New York and Los Angeles in this 2-story voluminous space. The Miami location boasts a spacious DJ lounge, second level V.I.P. bar and bistro dining area. The sun-bleached palette responds to its inviting yet stylish environment with a soft, relaxed and more muted combination of natural materials and colors. Nude tones with natural gray suede and sophisticated white leather banquettes adorn the dining areas. A catwalk across the back bar delivers a distinctive vibe as the guests ascend to the mezzanine level of the restaurant. A glazed screen spans the double height space of the main atrium with an abstract shape of a woman's body reflecting off the glass. Upstairs, a second dining room, bar and private dining areas flank the railings overlooking the main area allowing guests to be the center of attention or blend in with the Miami social scene.
